| Jaxom05-16-05, 01:19 PM | An idea I've been working with for awhile starts with the parents of the character, a retired paladin of St. Cuthbert as a father and his wife the acrobatic unorthodoxed fightng rogue. This child could grow up in the service of the church of St. Cuthbert that could technically be the law of the city and neighboring towns. That's the easy part of the character's background, he or she could have this air of importance to be like the father, even thought they're just a cleric, and acts like a chosen paladin without actually lying, but just leading people to believe that's what they are. Making sure it seems that they have a special connection with thier horse and implying that they're going to summon another mount when in fact they just go and pick one up at the local stables. I'm not sure this idea will work the way think it would, but I just thought it might be an entertaining character to play. Any thoughts or ideas or any advice that can be passed on would be greatly appreciated. If you see that this idea won't even work I'd like to hear the opinion and the reason why you think that way. Thanks, Jax. |
