05-15-07, 06:28 PM Seeing as how so many people were distressed by the fact that this topic was posed in the wrong spot before, I decided to move it here. Heres the rules: Post a vauge character concept, and people guess who its meant to be. So lets get started.

Race: Human... mostly
Class: Barbarian 1/Fighter -> Weapon Master (bladed gauntlet) 7
Feats: E. Weapon Prof (bladed gauntlet), Weapon Focus (bladed gauntlet), Improved Critical, Combat Reflexes, Whirlwind Attack, Spring Attack, Two Weapon Fighting (and its friends), Weapon Finesse

Lets see what we have here...

A human character with basically 2 claws comming off each hand. With a high dex, this char will be very hard to hit. He may not be able to hit really hard at first, but the bonus to AC from his dex is worth it, especially since with Weapon Finesse it will help him attack. 40ft base land speed with the help of that barbarian level, along with rage and illiteracy (both seem to fit well).

Bladed Gauntlet, critical threat on 17-20 x2. Improved Critical... makes it 14-20. With the Ki Critical feature of Weapon Master, thats 12-20... assuming you dont let Improved Critical and Keen stack. If you do, this gets even better.

So here we have a character that gets a huge number of attacks each round against an opponent, or if surrounded, uses whirlwind attack with a 40% instant kill rate from Vorpal (more if you stack keen and imporved crit).

Toss into the frey fast healing, and somehow the Scent ability. Can anyone tell me who this character is?

In all seriousness, wolverine, but I've seen better builds for him, especially in d20 modern with mutations and cybernetics.

05-16-07, 01:07 AM Yeah, i had a human with the Feral template (SS), had 2 claw attacks, fast healing, scent... the whole show.

Tried to make it different from wolverine... but it always came back to the whole 'berserker rage" thing...

couldnt keep him, so he jumped into a volcano and was replaced by something at the other end of the clique scale :D

Peace
