I decided that i wanted to make a psion for my next character and I was thinking of storyline ideas and i came up with the idea of a child prodigy, ie he is ridiculously smart but only young. I decided that he would be asian as well so that i can do the funky accent (enhances atmosphere and gets a few laughs). I figured i would make him around the age of 10. These are the starting ability scores that i would give him if i made him: Str = 8 Dex = 13 Con = 10 Int = 18 Wis = 10 Cha = 8 What do you guys think? |

What the DM decided to do with most of my stats was to lower them from what they would have been if I was an adult. If I recall I rolled a strength of 12, but my ten year old self only had a strength of 6 or 7. It would increase from there until I hit my teenage years. Similar things were noted for dexterity, constitution and I think maybe wisdom and charisma. Even though my stats were all lower than I rolled, it was a fun character to role play into his teenage years. A child is generally weaker, slower, less wise, and not a very good leader compared to an adult was the DM's Ruling. |
