| BlickQuickly04-26-05, 03:21 PM | I made a cleric for an upcoming campaign where the human race is just starting to develope other character classes besides Barbarians, Rangers, and Druids. Only elves and dwarves can be fighters, all metal weapons and armor are bronze (except for dwarven quality items), ect...My character is a standard 1st level Cleric (the first ever in this campaign's reality) and as far as the core rules go, he has these qualities: Feats: Scribe Scroll ---> Makes him more wizard-esque, might take it down the road and get something else first.... Track----> Makes him like a Ranger. Thanks to travel or plant domain, W. Lore is a class skill. Class Skills: Heal Wilderness Lore Diplomacy---> higher Cha. Concentrate Knowledge (Nature) 2 Domains: one of these makes Wilderness Lore a class skill. Travel ----> Makes him like a Wizard. Can cast fly, ex. retreat, ect... Plants ----> Makes him like a Druid with things like entangle also can turn plants. Well, anyway I'm trying to get a flavor of other classes here. Make him a hodge-podge of everything if possible so no one really knows what the heck he is. I'm not specifically Min/Maxing here, I'm just looking for more flavor. Plz, no "supplimental book" related stuff. We're going the core rules book route here. I dont have any supplimental books besides the seafaring one (and it sux!!) plus my group frowns upon them, because we all dont have access to the same materials. Its going to be wierd. Thanks in advance! BQ |

If it is the case, you should act a bit like a druid, since you are already a "nature priest". You didn't mention wizards nor sorcerers as "available classes", so the spells from you Travel Domain will be much more flashy than the typical druid spells, you should be proud of this. |

The flavor of this campain is that is set at exact point of "revelation" for the human race. The Elves have taught a select few humans that "you can write the magic down" otherwise there are only sorcerers (and we can choose to be one I think). I have been Chosen (more or less) to be the first of the cleric-kind. So, it just makes sense that my character would have attributes that lean towards druid and ranger (I'm thinking about being more of a loud and annoying prophet too. :) ) There are also no human fighters yet, but we are not limited that way after level 1 if we choose to multi-class. Oh, and I am proud. This has got to be the strangest cleric I've ever played. I hope he lives to see level 2. BQ |
