Cleric of Moradin vs Cleric of Bane [Archive] - Wizards Community

08-05-03, 03:17 PM I play in a NWN community where I am a high level fighter/cleric of Moradin.

A cleric of Bane has moved into a nearby town and I am wondering how drastic would the steps be to remove this guy.

What is the relationship between Moradin and Bane?

08-05-03, 03:49 PM Maybe not as drastic as you might think. Certainly the Cleric of Moradin shouldn't just raise a posse and roust the man... I mean, if he hasn't broken any laws... both lawful faiths have to deal with one another until someone 'crosses the line.' That's most likely to be the Baneite, yes... but don't let him taunt you into something chaotic.

Thwart his plans in private and be polite to him in public. He'll hate that!

08-05-03, 11:59 PM Well Im not sure if I agree. I think it depends on your clerics experience with the cjurch of Bane. I don't know what alignment your cleric is but Bane is well known for his goals and those of his clergy.

If any human religion would be hated outright for its ideals id say that dwarves would hold bane in a pretty poor light. Evil is evil no matter how you sugar coat it. Any follower is Evil and should be treated as such.

Praise Moradin then take out the trash!
