| Ouranos Harpy06-07-06, 07:10 PM | Exactly what do yuo need help with? A backstory? Provide some extra information about your character. His name would be good, something that sets him apart from others...maybe even a faviroute piece of equipment/item? give us some dots and we'll connect them.. |

| Ouranos Harpy06-08-06, 08:15 PM | The Hathran Witches are seen by all the goodly people as caretakers of the mystical lands of Rashemen. Destroying the powers of the chthonic Hags and their monstrous minions or holding off the threat of the ever hungry paws of the Thayan wizards, the Wychlaran are known for their devotion to Rashemen. The people of the land revere the witches as exalted prophets of the gods they venerate. The witches are good people... aren't they? Not to everyone. Any male born with the blessing of The Hidden One (Rashemi name for Mystra, hinting at the arcane spell-casters) is snatched away from their families and holed away in secret academies. These forced orphans are given an alternative become a Vremyonni or be exiled. The story Gaxx Bluetooth faced was much like the ones many others had to go through. Taken away from his tribe at a relatively young age, Gaxx after being taught the rudimentary basics of magic by his arcane professors showed a heightened interest in Enchantment. The subtle art of molding and shaping the thoughts of others made him a quick favorite among the academy. Favoured even by the Hathrans, Gaxx was given the ability to explore the divine realms. Although he received much attention and was treated far better than what any student should, Gaxx held a deep and bitter resentment against the witches of Rashemen. He respected them for doing otherwise would have meant punishment, but still a portion of him balked at the idea of forced servitude. But he gladly took whatever opportunity he got to expand his mental horizons. One day, in one of the great libraries of the Hathrans, Gaxx came across an esoteric document highlighting a group of unusual and (at least to him) unknown deities. As he shifted through the papers one name caught his eye; Chaav. After pouring himself over the blurbs and central tenants of the faith, Gaxx found an odd sense of content upon understanding the Laughing God's faith. As his appreciation for the deity grew his heart grew lighter, his smile wider. The resentment he held against the witches slowed peeled away as his new patron deity wrapped Gaxx in his simple love. But Gaxx was still human and now more than ever, he wanted to escape the academy and teach the world about his deity's creed. So after careful planning and using his skills as a wielder of arcane and divine magic, Gaxx escaped his imposed prison and ran away from the land of spirits. He now roams Faerun seeking to bring but a smile on everyone's face. Although he no longer hates the Hathran Witches, some notions are hard to destroy. Gaxx remains slightly cold towards female spell-casters of all types. |
