Using the premise that a cleric is faithful to an ideal rather than a diety, a friend and I have started a list of cliches and the Cleric Domains that could support them. Please contribute if you like.
This is what we have so far.

Time heals all wounds: Time & healing
All in due time: Time & Travel
Knowledge is Power: Knowledge & Domination
The Truth will set you free:???
I think therefore I am: Knowledge & Destiny
Bringing Order out of Chaos: Planning & Chaos
No man is an island: Community & Water
Fools Rush in: Celerity & Trickery
Haste makes Waste: Celerity & Destruction
Safety in Numbers/We shall overcome: Community & Destiny

All in due time should be: time and greed. Domains which also work for A penny saved is a penny earned.
I don't think there is a destiny domain. It should be fate
The truth will set you free should be travel & ? (who gets discern lies as domain?)

The Truth Shall Set You Free: Inquisition and Liberation.

Haste Makes Waste is a bit incorrect, you need to look at what the cliche is actually saying (in this case, don't hurry in doing anything). That would make it Planning and Sloth.
Still it was a nice play on words.

Curiosity Killed the Cat: Animal and Temptation.
Silence is Golden: Death and Greed.
The Way to a Man's Heart is Through His Stomach: Gluttony and Joy.
...Like the fist of an angry god: Mysticism and Wrath.
