My idea is to play a druid who is more in contact with animals then forests and such. The only real deity which goes well there, might be Malar. Be he is clearly insane, and would not go well for a good-aligned druid. Then there is Nobanion, but I have a problem finding a good concept with him as a deity. So...If anyone are up for some concept-writing, I would be very thankful. Thanks. |

Also, druids who worship Mielikki are allowed to use any weapons and armor that a ranger can use, without breaking their druid oath. She is the only deity in the forgotten realms that allows this :P Have fun. |

Almost a raised by wolves but with actual background as being born into a circle of druids and have grown up wrestling with not-quite tame young wolves. If your childhood companions were predators then you are a predator by nature. You may have been taught religion and civilization by your circle but at heart you are still the wolf or lion cub that watched mom hunt and your brothers and sisters growing teeth and claws. Focus on your wildshape for a character like this. You may also want to multiclass into barbarian for at least a few levels to pick up the extra weapons, speed, and rage. Talk to your DM and see if he'll let you use claw bracers or one of the other exotic weapons without violating your druid oaths if not get one that works with your wildshape or an amulet to make natural attacks magical. |

I actually wrote a class, combining the features of a barbarian, ranger and monk with the primary being druid. This was for a game I played in. Though the rage granted different strengths and weaknesses depending on the type of animal you most associated with, selected at 1st level. A lot of the abilities are alternate features from unearthed arcana, the new ability was how rage worked. It was quite fun and pretty well balanced. |
