| Milkman Dan03-14-05, 02:13 AM | In our campaign, one of the PCs is a paladin of a Neutral Good goddess of elves, the moon, good lycanthropes, and magic. (However, she's heavily multiclassed. Something like Sorcerer 1 / Paladin 9 / Ranger 2 / homebrewed PrC 2). Her player mentioned that she probably shouldn't have picked that particular goddess as a patron, even though there is a themely organization dedicated to that goddess that includes paladins, since she developed her character into a demon hunter through roleplay. My PC is a LN cleric who worships a LN goddess of death, the dying, and families. That goddess also has an order that includes paladins, though actual paladins are on the rare side (mostly undead hunting types). I've been thinking of trying to convert the paladin into the worship of his deity. I haven't talked with the player about it yet, but I'll mention it to her before I do anything. Good idea? Bad idea? Suggestions on how to roleplay it? |

Go ahead and ask the other player if he's serious about "perhaps changing deity", and if yes make your proposition. I guess worst thing he can say is: "No!" But if he doesn't feel "Undead Hunter", perhaps could you talk him more about the "Familly" aspect of your deity. |

| Rowan_Whispercloak03-20-05, 04:09 PM | As long as the god/goddess they convert to allows paladin then a quest to test the faith of the paladin (cough:: DM hook ::cough) the paladin can regain her abilities. |
