So you want to be an Adventurer? If slaying some dragons, raiding hordes, and saving damsels in distress is your cup of Cormyrian coffee, come test your skills and see if you have what it takes to delve in the deepest of dungeons.

PRIZE: 1 adventuring license per member and an Audience with the Steel Regent herself, among a dragon's (young mind you,) horde of other prizes,

PLACE: SUZAIL

RACE: MOST HUMANOID (not all evil races will be allowed)

CLASS: ANY!

EXPERIENCE: NON Adventures only (only levels 1-3)

TEAM SIZE: 3-7 members

EQUIP: BRING WHAT YOU WANT (NO magically endowed equipment.) {Starting gold as per class}

Basically I need some NPCs to take part in this tournament. Other than the rules previously stated, It is ANYTHING GOES.

Teams don't have to be balance to enter. I would like each team to have thier own flavor and maybe one of the teams could end up being a rival for the PC's.

I'd like to here all of the crazy teams builds that you guys can come can up with.

**EDIT** I did put this in the character DEVELOPMENT section on purpose. I would like to have each character be real and not some build from the character OPT. section. I don't need character's stats unless it is pertinent to the development of the character.**EDIT**

You enter the tavern. The first thing you remark are the group of menestrels singing and playing music; many patrons are singing and dancing with them. In an obscure corner, you can see a group of dwarves sitting around a table; they are playing cards and drinking bear from a drum they bought and put directly on their table. In another obscure corner, you can see a strange trio: a creature so large it is sitting on a table instead of a chair, a blond woman with a rusted full-plate and what appear to be an elf wearing an heavy robe.

The dwarves
1) Einkil Holderhek, LG Ranger 3, Dual use Battle dwarven waraxe & hand axe. Favored ennemy: giants
Feats: TrackB, Thunder Twin (FR), Two-Weapon Fighting B, Two-Weapon Defense
S14 D16 C12 I8 W12 C11

2) Brottor Holderhek, LG priest of Clangeddin 3, domains war & strenght
Use battle axe & shield
Feats: Thunder Twin, Weapon Focus: Battle AxeB, Combat Casting
S14 D12 C12 I8 W16 C11

3) Veit Torunn, NG rogue 2, use a short sword
Feats: Dodge
S8 D16 C12 I14 W13 C10

4) Eberk Berrin, LG fighter 2, great axe
Feats: Weapon Focus: Great Axe, Power Attack, Cleave
S16 D12 C16 I10 W8 C11

5) Hlin Torunn, NG priestess of Marthammor Duin 1, heavy mace & shield
domains travel & dwarf
Feats: Great FortitudeB, Eschew Material
S12 D13 C12 I8 W16 C12

An human commoner usually think the dwarves look all the same, even the female ones. However, it is easy to see there is more similarities between Brottor and Einkil from any other dwarves. That's because the Holderhek brothers are Thunder Twins, born under Moradin's blessing. Favorable augury usually follow thunder twins, and the Holderhek are no exception. Einkil became a talented ranger and giant hunter, while Brottor entered the service of Clangeddin, in order to defend his community. When they heard about the adventurers contest in Suzail, Cormyr, they asked their friends Veit the tricky rogue and Eberk the strong but slow-thinking fighter. But Veit was not the trickiest in his familly: his younger sister Hlin didn't want to let him go without her. "Fine, said Einkil, we have a long road until Suzail, it wouldn't hurt to have a priestess of Marthammor Duin with us!"

The Chaos
1) Bielle the Hyena, CN priestess of Garagos 3, domains war & destruction
Feats: Weapon Focus: Longsword B, Power Attack, Divine Might, Extra Turning
S12 D10 C13 I8 W16 C14
longsword & shield

2) Terenud, CG aasimar sorceror 2
Feats: Spell Focus: Evocation
S10 D12 C14 I13 W10 C17

3) Nils, CN half-ogre/half-human fighter 2,
5 feats: power attack, cleave, iron will, weapon focus: great flail
S17 D14 C15 I11 W10 C6
uses a large-sized great flail

In Faerun, most warriors worship Tempus the God of War. But a few ones choose to worship Garagos the Reaver. Bielle the Hyena is one of Garagos priests. The rebel child of a Sembian noble, she left the house at 15 years old to join some anarchist thugs. Those thugs were lead by a lone priest of Garagos, who taught her the tennets of this faith. At first, Bielle was just another violent girl using her charisma to have stupid thugs defend her. She came to understand there was a sens behind random violence and destruction. It wasn't in a Sembian city she would find an answer to this, and she left her land to travel. She now has half the head shaved, and the other half is covered by beautiful long hair, down to her waist.
She met Nils in a thorp. The half-ogre's human mother died while giving him birth, and he was adopted by a farmer familly. While growing up, he made himself useful at the farm, and also learned to use weapons in the local militia. At the age the other boys begin to look at girls, Nils understood he was different, and withdrew into himself. He was still thankful to the inhabitants from taking care of him, but no longer felt anything for them. When he met Bielle the Hyena, he knew she was, in some sens, similar to him.
Terenud is very silent about himself, he only claims to have celestial blood in his veins. He is very arrogant about it and quick to get into troubles. He was in such troubles when Bielle and Nils entered in a tavern. They witnessed him using his magic to set half the tavern in fire. They helped him escape the place, and he agreed to follow them.

The Menestrels
1) Ellyjobell "Oneshoe" Beren, CG female gnome Illusionnist 1
Feats: Sribe Scroll B, Spell Focus: Illusion
S8 D14 C15 I15 W8 C12

2) Perrin the Bald, CG half-elf bard 3
Feats: Point Blank Shot, Precise Shot
S10 D15 C13 I12 W8 C14

3) Feneccor Tevar, NG human priest of Milil 2, domains Good & Nobility
Feats: Extra Turning, Divine Shield
S12 D8 C14 I10 W15 C14

4) Mila Corenzo, CG female human rogue 2
Feats: Blind-Fight, Improved Initiative
S8 D15 C12 I13 W10 C14

Perrin, Ellyjobell and Feneccor met in a menestrel caravan. Perrin his a good singer, poet and mandolin player, Feneccor isn't bad with his flute, and Ellyjobel is able to accompy them with some drums. The 3 of them decide to left the caravan and travel together. They got mild success, until one evening a beautiful woman with flaming red hairs danced on all their songs. They were so successful that they asked her to join them; Mila gladly agreed, with a wink to Perrin. The bard is crazy about her, even if he's not sure he can trust her...
Like almost all menestrels, they have some connections with the Harpers. Feneccor, the priest of Milil, dreams to be accepted by the Harpers; the other ones don't care about them, but gladly trade some informations to Harper agents or accomplish minor tasks for them, as long as the pay is there.
Note: My original idea about Mila was to have her be a Red Dragon in disguise, with the goal to help charismatic adventurers become famous, so when she'll finally eat them, her misdeed will just be more spectacular. There could be other female chromatic dragons in disguise in the area, helping other adventurers becoming famous; if they meet, a quarrel or even a cat fight is not impossible...

A hard drinking group sits in a sheltered booth. They are pushing salt shakers and utensils around on the tabletop and argueing strategy. The loudest and perhaps drunkest of them, wears a full suit of chainmail with the blue and purple vestments of a Priest of Tyr. There is a Cormyrian coat of arms on his shield.

Any local can tell you: "That be Elgis Kirin-Blackshield. The Blackshields was distant relations of the Kirins... aye, of Kirinwood. Well, when they was finished blowin' the'selves up with that foolish mage's tower, the Blackshields come in an' made themselves lords of Kirinwood. Only poor him, he was the second son, so it was woosh, off to the monastary with 'im. Aye, he can say the rights of the Triad, but if'n ya ask me, 'is heart ain't into it. If'n ya ask me, 'is interest lies with getting land o' his own. I ain't heard no tell o' him doing anything unjust or cowardly, but a word to the wise - keep sharp if'n ya get in his way."

THE OUTCASTS
A motley crew sits at the table; mostly young men and women, but of all seeming to have one thread in common - they each only have each other for comfort and solace. Outcasts of the world, they all are, each facing persecution for their blood...

Hark Tonguesplitter; Chaotic Good Male Half Orc Barbarian 2/Fighter 1; Wields a Halberd in battle (decorated with feathers.) Very, very strong, fighting style is upfront, personal, and overpowering.

Drauth; Neutral Good Male Tiefling Ranger 1/Sorcerer 1; Wields a bow in combat, using spells to augment his fighting cabalities. Prefers to snipe from a distance using True Strike.

Emmie; Lawful Good Aasimar Cleric of Nobanion 1; A young girl of barely 14 years, wears light armor and fights with a light mace - prefers to help others, not fight herself.

Sen'ele' Ul'Trazzu'lt; Lawful Good Male Drow Paladin of Ilmater 1; Wears full plate armor, but with no gauntlets - wields no weapons but his own hands, and dislikes killing immensely.

Helliah Truebow; Chaotic Good Female Half Elf (Sun) Ranger 1/Cleric 2 of Shaundakul; Wields a greatsword in battle, along with a bow. Always moves around, and never sits still for more than ten minutes.

Ssl'essat; Neutral Good Female Lizardfolk; Fights with her claws, is very loyal to the other Outcasts, almost a den mother. Wears no armor, but isn't particularly savage - just doesn't know how to use such tools properly.

Ulagdu plucked the tattered parchment from the grass, grumbling about garbage and disrespect for nature. Just as he was starting to crumble it in disgust, a word caught his eye - prize. Curiosity piqued, the bulky half-orc straightened the battered advertisement, and read it silently to himself.
"That prize money could be a big help to cover travel expenses for my project," Ulagdu mused, "but I don't like this dragonslaying bit. Fools look to carve a name for themselves out of a dragon's hide, overdo it, eliminate the top predators, and next thing you know, the region's ecology is wrecked!" He rubbed his chin, his sloping brow furrowed in doubtful consternation. "Then again, without any of the Druidic Council there to show 'em better, I guess you can't expect any different, can you Digger?" Ulagdu leaned down to scratch between the ears of the young badger waddling about his feet, and sighed in resignation, turning his face toward the city. "I'd better go set their heads on straight... and if we happen to end up with the prize, we'll just call that a bonus."

Ulagdu, True Neutral Half-Orc Druid 3
wields a quarterstaff and darts, prefers spells to heal and get along in rugged terrain rather than for direct attack
badger companion "Digger" trained for hunting and heavy labor
Feats: Endurance, Skill Focus (Profession: Herbalist)
Languages: Orc, Common, Elven, Sylvan, Druidic
Str: 16, Dex: 14, Con: 14, Int: 14, Wis: 17, Cha: 7

Ulagdu was forced out of his tribe as a preteen for thinking too much, and had to make his way alone in the wilderness, learning by trial and error. He found his calling as a druid after a chance encounter with Sirandil, a half-elf who - hating Ulagdu's kind but feeling a pang of sympathy for a fellow outsider - put him through the trials of initiation rather than killing him with her own hands. To Sirandil's surprise Ulagdu survived the tests, and with grudging respect she put aside her prejudice and began to teach him the ways of the wild. Over time the two became close friends despite their differences, and remain so, though they only see one another infrequently due to Ulagdu's nomadic ways and Sirandil's preference to keep and protect a grove.
Ulagdu has a fondness for pain, left over from the self-scarring ways of his orcish upbringing. He satisfies this with a taste for peppers, the hotter the better, and this has developed into a hobby second only to his druidic duties. Ulagdu carries several pouches with multiple varieties of peppers and pepper seeds, experiments with cross-pollenation, and wanders about in search of new strains to cross with existing plants he's left growing in many places. He seeks to develop a type of pepper so hot it can invoke the wild rage of his barbaric brethren, and has even modified an existing druid spell into a form more suited to his tastes - Goodpepper. He keeps Digger, his badger animal companion, out of combat, and instead puts him to work loosening the soil to make planting and transplanting easier.

WOW..... This is some awesome stuff. I never really thought you guys could pull out characters like this. I'm taking most of your ideas and making NPC's with them. And with these excellent backgrounds It'll give me a good basis for a couple of adventures later in the campaign. I have an Idea for a team full of dopplegangers but I don't really have to time to create a really good story with them...any takers?

Keep the Idea's rollin
