Kilyen 06-02-04, 10:23 AM	My current group is starting a new forgotten realms campaign pretty soon and i got to thinking about some cool character combinations. That's how the concept for my Winged wood elven ranger came about. However i need to have an explanation for how he came to be and a good background. I was thinking along the lines of being outcasted from his hometown at a young age to explain the ranger levels and why he might meet up with another of our players character who might be a human/insectoid cross. He will worship milekki but i don't know that much about the Forgotten Realms world yet and any help i could get on helping this would be a great help. Our group is also starting at level 3 so my character would only be first level to start with but i think he will survive it. -Kilyen
Valence de Meluvet 06-02-04, 12:45 PM	How about.. A village of wood elves start to mate with a local group of Avariels.. The next generation has less and less wood elves and avariels until they completely mix into one race.
Trydan 06-02-04, 05:55 PM	@Valence: What's an Avariel? @Kilyen: I like Valence's idea, but would use Fey. Also, it doesn't necessary need to be some sort of interbreeding. Perhaps it is a blessing from the Fey, in exchange for help rendered (saving a grove or something).
