Crazed halfling monk/thief... would this work? [Archive] - Wizards Community

03-02-07, 06:01 PM I'm playing in an all evil campaign, and as I'm playing the same character in essentially 3 different campaigns, I'm wanting to rebuild as a new character.

I'm thinking about playing a Rogue / Monk, LE Halfling, who is a little crazed. I'm thinking he's going to be running around with little more than a diaper on, and whenever combat starts he's going to rip it off, and use it as a sling (using unarmed when things get to melee).

The thing is, I would love to take Vow of Poverty w/ this character, just b/c its so funny... but as I said before, its an all-evil campaign. What else could I do w/ the loot, that would be fitting for a character like this?

03-02-07, 07:19 PM 1. Use the coins for ammunition for your diaper-sling.
2. String copper pieces together to make metal knuckles for yourself.
3. Shove them down the throats of poor people, widows, and orphans.
4. Donate them all to the church of Hextor/Nerull/Vecna/other.
5. Make the other party members watch while you toss all the money and gear into a sphere of annihilation, cackling to yourself all the while.
6. Don't spend it on yourself, but gradually hire and equip an army of mercenaries with which you plan to conquer the countryside.
