So I play in an online FRCS game (PM me if you want details on joining) and Im looking at a new character Ive been wanting to play for a while. An arcane caster (havent decided a class yet) that suffers from a(some) mental problem(s) such as schizophrenia, autism, etc. I dont have a DSM IV handy  but I imagine it to be something along the lines of this: Though he (she?) is fully aware of real world surroundings and situations and can "function" in society, there is a false reality created in thier minds and due to thier magical abilities this reality creates itself. It makes sense to me, but I figure an example wouldnt hurt... Part of their false world would be a badger, a personification (I tried to come up with a proper word for like 10 mins, got nothing) of thier conscience. During battles and such, he might summon a celestial badger. Something along those lines. What I am looking for here are suggestions on how to play such a character and some ideas on this alter reality. Thanks in advance!
