Hello all i seek advice in a game i am in. We are a Party made up of 2 paladins, LG, 1 wizard NC, 1 Duskblade NC, 1 rogue NE, and 1 monk LE ... What i seek is to corrupt the two paladins and turn them down the darker path. A little back story on the game. Elves slaves ... other races besides human uncommon but not that rare ... paladin reborn as one of the half dragon things ... he seeks to free elves. We just, after our 1st game, survived a town which was attacked by an evil wizard using rust monsters (we are all level 4 by the way) after defeating some in the tavern ran out into the city and our party was sucked down a hole into tunnels where we came across a chamber where it seems a old evil lich (evil according to the evil wizard) came to life and left just before we go there .. our paladin 1 as we will call him ran after it ... so did the rest of the party ... evil me and evil monk staied to absurve the richs found inside that room .. when said evil wizards stalks in demands where said lich went we point after party ... follow wizard ... he attack party .. we sneak up on him and flank him .... he surrenders and pally questions then leaves him for us to dispose of ... we free him and save him from wizard who tried to assassinate him ... and set him on our side ... knocked out our wizard ... and left tunnel ... we got questioned by pally and lied a soild story out ..... now we seek to bend our paladins towards evil ... although one can say him leaveing us to kill the wizard was evil ... i have yet to bring that up with the dm and may instead use it as a seed to start twisting him down the path of evil.

you seek to get along with them ... i seek to turn them to my side ... Nothing says your evil then taking the pally defender of justice and making him into the very monsters he fought against.

Now, I must admit that you format (or lack of same) made it harder to understand what you wanted.

Basically, if you're just trying to corrupt the group use cold and clinical logic when good dictates use of emotions and use emotions to explain that which is illogical.

Examples:
"You claim to be a force of good, yet that fullplate might have silenced the bellies of a thousand children. How can you even hope to justify spending such an amount of gold on self-indulgent things such as that?"

"So you think that this undead should be destroyed? But has he given you any reason other than what he is? If he is serving the greater good, then shouldn't he deserve to live on? Could you really live with the knowledge that you've potentially destroyed a potent force of good?"

"It's not as if undead are automatically evil, they are driven by an energy harmful to the living, but it remains a neutral force which is no more malevolent than a sword"

You might try digging up journals of past adventurers who took the darker route. Work it with your DM. You can become a font of literary advice and stories.

Even the bad guys have noble goals sometimes. It's what makes them scarier and more effective.

So what if he ended up as a lich? He saved thousands of people, and made himself a lich because he worried that once he was gone catastrophies like the one he prevented could happen again and he wouldn't be there to stop them.

Just gloss over the fact that he's a control freak. *cough*
