In a planescape campaign I hope to play in soon I'm planning on using a human spellthief (from Complete Adventurer) who has taken a few Abyssal Heritage feats from Fiendish Codex I: Hordes of the Abyss. I'm calling him Salkar.

For those of you not familiar with these books, he has vestigial wings and racial knowledge of demonlore, and he can temporarily steal spells from people.

Despite the Abyssal heritage, I plan to have this character be Chaotic Good.

Here's my backstory thus far:

Before Salkar was born his mother and father lived in the outlands in one of the good gate towns (Tradegate, Ecstasy or Glorium). Salkar's mother is visited by an incubus disguised as her husband. She then later gives birth to Salkar, who seems perfectly normal for much of his early life (he's human). But after reaching puberty he begins growing his vestigial wings and knowing things he shouldn't. I'm thinking that after this he falls in with some philosophers and starts stealing things from people, especially magic. Not sure what group works best for this.

The basic philosophy behind this character is that he embraces his fiendish heritage for the power it gives him, but he rejects their ideology.

Also, strictly speaking, Salkar ought to be a half-fiend, but I don't really want to play a half-fiend, so does anyone have any ideas for something that fit both the backstory I want, and the idea of him being, in essence, a tiefling?
