| gravitywell10-05-06, 12:52 AM | Greetings...I'm a long time lurker, and I've seen some incredibly interesting developments out of these boards so now its my turn. My character, Thorn, is a half Red-dragon, Half human Dragon Shaman of 2nd level (after the LA.) He's currently feated towards Imp Bull Rush, Power Attack, and Heavy armor. His future feats will embrace his dragon heritage and be on the Breath-feat list. He currently fights wearing Full Plate (non-magical), and carries a longspear and a heavy mace (both non-magical). He prefers to fight with his hands than weapons, but has no trouble wielding them when he needs to. His background, needs some polishing. My current "story" is: He was born and raised by his mother who <willing, or unwillingly> mated with a red dragon. He grew up in a small town, which had no trouble accepting him as the town oddball and didn't neglect him like so many other half-breeds. He strives to live up to his lineage and wants to be as powerful as his kin (lead to Dragon Shaman). Now...does he want power to exact revenge on Daddy? Does he just want to live up to Daddy's expectations? (We've just started out game, so "Daddy" is a nameless Red Dragon that may, or may not come into the game.) Any ideas or suggestions would be fantastic. Please ask any questions that I haven't covered. Thank you again. |

Maybe he was raised to be really good, but the "evil blood" from Daddy occasionally gets to him and Drama! ensues. Alternatively or also, he could have had a half-silver-dragon friend when he was younger who set out to become a Paladin or the equivalent and Thorn wants to strive up to be like him/her when he grows up, but Thorn's draconic heritage draws him towards power and neutrality/evil and so he's faced with another conflict. Give any ideas? -Soly |

I've already declared with my DM that his Totem is Red...but technically at level 2 the only thing that Totems impact are Skills, and that can be altered easily. Alignment, I was thinking of mixing red with silver, and being Chaotic Good. Trying to do the right thing just going about it in a wreckless manner. I hadn't even considered him having a friend who was also a half-dragon. |
