This is my character as is:

Race: Star Elf
Gender: Male
Alignment: NG
Class: Elven Willspeaker (Sorcerer Kit; "speaks the will of Magic itself")
Skills: Maxed out Bluff, Diplomacy, Spellcraft, Concentration
Functional Goal: Blaster Mage
Stats: Above Avg Int, Dex, Con; Superhuman Cha; Avg Str; below Avg Wis.

Likes: Wealth, Power, Killing things he dislikes (as long as they aren't more useful alive), and of course, Nymphs, Dryads, and Astral Devas
Dislikes: People who are Evil, Stupid, or Annoying

Character traits: Gets bored easily, a bit arrogant, likes blowing up evil.

Typical actions: Launches a fireball at anyone the Paladin says is evil (detect evil at will), Uses diplomacy to get people he likes to help him, Uses Bluff to trick people he doesn't like (like stupid or annoying people instead of killing them)

Needless to say, he needs work. Can anyone help me develop him a bit more? I don't need anything big, just a couple sentences to put me in the right direction.

You must be careful with this, since it is a more evil way of thinking. A good character should have satisfaction to kill evil foes, not joy...

Who's your character's parent? Who's his magic teacher? Are they death or alive? Who killed them (if it isn't a natural death)?

I guess the prime ability of a Willspeaker is CHA. This character seems to have a low INT or WIS (get bored easily, dislike annoying people...)

He doesn't seem to trust much people, save your paladin friend. Why this one? The pally's parent were chield friends?

ok ok
since i dont know the elf name ill use athor

Athor has a quest to get rid of all evil in the world a perfect Utopia in wich hell rule peacefuly and harmoniously over all

For this he needs to become very powerful indeed since this will take a long time, he doesnt like things that dont help him either get more power or destroy evil.

Athor feels superior to all others in that he is pursuing this righteous path while the rest of the people dont have either the strenght inteligence or power to make it happen.

As a future ruler he knows that hell need to use diplomacy extensively wich he practices constantly to make things go his way hoping that one day hell have enough practice to run his kingdom.

hope it helps

For a neutral good character to launch a fireball at someone, just on the word of someone else, must mean that there is a a lot of unwritten trust here. The character must have implicit faith in the Paladin (and the Paladin, must be aware of what his or her words will cause). This hints at a special sort of symbiosis between the two characters. This may be an interesting area to explore.

In general, it is rare for characters to be so closely coupled (especially when the two are played by different players). However, it can make for some pretty interesting situations.

Finally, I agree with Morka, this character is showing some non-neutral-good tendencies here. I'd go for chaotic-neutral (at best), but that's just my first impression.
