Hi,
I have just completed one segment of a campaign I play in and the party ended up supporting a revolution that ended an oligarchy and installed a constitutional monarchy with people that had been removed from rulership as absolutist monarchs just two years earlier.
Our demands in exchange for participation and dangerous work in destabilizing the opposing forces were participation in politics as well as special statuses (such as diplomatic immunity and freedom from taxes and legel prosecution etc.). The party consists of the following:

Elven Cleric/ some prestige class that slowly turns the character into a fiend. That character was made head of the local church with a permanent seat in parliament. Lawful Evil.

Human Fighter/Barbarian. Inexperienced player, but was made captain of the local militia. Not the absolute commander, but fairly high-ranking.

Me: Half-Elven Bard 5/Spymaster 1 that owns a tavern in a bad neighbourhood and has an observing seat in parliament (which will be interesting since he has mind-controlling magic and is chaotic neutral). His alignment tends more towards free and unbound spirit rather than chaotic troublemaker.

While this may seem like a political campaign, it is not really. We demanded parliamentary access only because this way we get into high levels of power and intrigue.

Since we just hit 6th level, I got first access into the spymaster prestige class, but I am unsure on how to develop this character. I already skilled him but I am unsure on feats. We agreed on a down time of half a year in game time and in this time, my character will have spent great efforts in creating a spy and intelligence network throughout the whole city and neighbouring towns. It is not like he controls everything, but he meddles in many affairs and has sophisticated reconnaissance resources. This calls for the Leadership feat, but maybe there is something in other books that would be appropriate.
Suggestions on this would be highly welcome.

So, here are his stats.
