| Ranger_Dragonia07-09-06, 07:53 AM | For a while now I've been attempting to create a Silver True Dragon PC. I've looked through the Draconomicon, Monster Manuals, Player's Handbook and Races of the Dragon and I'm just utterly confused x_x While reading through the Draconomicon I read the chapter about Dragons as Player Characters, and thought about going with the Half-Dragon template on a standard race to create my character, but even then I came across confusion...Basically it's the things like the HD, Aging, Level Adjustment on the Half-Dragon's Template and such that are confusing me, since this does feel much different to making a standard character (Which I've done alot of). I'm simply just going by what I've read in the books I have, but I do ask if anyone here has a simpler way of putting it then several books have, since it feels like each book isn't connecting the way it should be x_x Thanks in advance to anyone who can help, it's much appreciated. |

Do something like: Dragonborn Dwarf Pally 5 Platinum Knight 10 Vassal of Bahamut 5 or something. Going with Dragonborn you don't have to worry about LA or Racial Hit Die or anything like that. |

Breakdowns for all of them much like you'd find in the Savage Species. 20 levels of dragon as a PC class. Its pretty good in that it allows you to easily multiclass but like the other classes once you multiclass you lose out some of your 1st classes abilities. In this case "silver Dragon". By the time you reach 20th level in Silver Dragon you are considered Young and now have access to all of your dragon abilities. That is Alternate form, Cloudwalking, spells, spell like abilities and a 7d8 breath weapon. Not too shabby inddeed, |
