Venais 08-15-07, 04:23 PM	Hey I am just starting a new 1st level dread necromancer and I have never really played an evil based character and advice on how to role play and maybe what would be an interesting race selection to go with the dread necromancer?
Fithero 08-15-07, 09:24 PM	I once had a dreadnecro planned out, but never got to play him. He was going to be a ghostwise halfling (neutral evil) whose entire society was based around undead. They raised the corpses of their dead tribes men to help defend the village and it was considered an honour. They would raise the corpses of enemies and use them to attack enemies, and not care about what happened to them, this was to dishonour them. All in all, things that this character considered tame and of the social norm were considered extremely barbaric and horrific by normal standards. He wasnt 'evil' evil, its just that he found a few things more acceptable than others (murder, necromancy, grave robbing, cannabilism etc) Make sure you take tomb tainted soul and put your dump stat into con though, it will make things alot easier.
