Hi! I was wondering if anyone could help me with a drow barbarian build? I am trying to be somewhat creative here and not be making a Drizzt clone so I decided to try a drow barbarian here. Here is what I am to work with, I am limited to 11 actual levels (the party is 13th), I do want to use 2 longswords as weapons (a la Zaknafein and Dantrag), and I have 13th level gold for PC's. Any and all help would be greatly helpful!! Thanks!!

Why is it that so many people think that character development is about building a stat-sheet? It is about developing the characters' background, personality, mannerisms - what makes it a character instead of a set of statistics to destroy the nearest monster - and for discussing how to develop a character based on a set of underlying beliefs or goals, etc. You should try Character OPTIMIZATION. You'll get more help over there. Once you're done with the munchkin kick and want to figure out what your character is going to be like as a person, come on over and we'll help you out.

Way to go, aleshandre. That's one person who won't bother coming back here.

Yeah, pretty good huh. I really let him have it good![/sarchasm]

I realized that I was overbearing with my comment after he had responded, but anything I did after that would be too little too late, so I did nothing.

Your character is a male in a lesser house. Due to this status, you were unable to go to the Fighting Academy (the name escapes me now). The lesser status means that males in your family are little more than slaves (game mechanic = illiterate). However, the males in your family have always been strangely stout and sturdy (game mechanic = d12 HD). You are able to enter a trance-like state that has advantages and disadvantages in battle (game mechanic = rage ability).

Beyong that, the CO forum would be your best bet, but be ready for you simple 11th-level Barbarian to evolve into a Barbarian/Fighter/Wizard/Frenzied Berserker/Rage Mage/Blackguard/Assassin (NOTE: tongue firmly implanted in cheek).
