| seekanddestroy02-10-04, 10:39 AM | Does anyone have a link where I can get some ideas for a male dwarf. Also if you just want to post some thats ok too. Thanks |
| Trydan02-10-04, 11:38 AM | Try the Fantasy Name Generator (http://spitfire.ausys.se/johan/names/) and select the appropriate type from the "Type of names to generate" menu. |

| WarDragon02-10-04, 02:30 PM | My formula for Dwarven names: Given name should be at least vaugely Nordic or German sounding; examples include "Bruenor," or "Magnus." Family/Clan name is nearly always a compound word, related to the family's traditional profession (usually fighting, forging or mining), drinking, or some type of stone. |

| WarDragon02-11-04, 01:35 PM | Well, "home" is in Putnam County, West Virginia, about halfway between Charleston and Huntington, but I'm currently living in the dorms at UK, earning my bachelor's degree (I'm a sophomore). I go back to WV for holidays and long breaks, except this July, when I'll be studying abroad in England. If you have a D&D group that's willing to take in a newbie, give me an e-mail (the address is in my profile). |
