I will be playing in a darker, grittier world, so figured that the "by the book" attitude might make a nice character. First job will likely be hired to guard a caravan, figured to evolve into a bounty hunter/scout/spy or a "material recovery specialist", perhaps. Need any ideas, advice, etc on background, cool ways to play, weapons of choice, mannerisms, quirks, etc. For reference: My character isn't all that strong for a dwarf, being a bit thinner/leaner than average. Dex is high, so perhaps weapon finesse would help. Wisdom is high, Con is extremely high, intelligence average and charisma is very low. S=14 I=11 W=16 D=17 Con=18 Ch=6 (DM gave us starter numbers) |

Perhaps better with a monk/druid or barbarian/druid? OTOH, both classes are close to nature, so it's not a bad choice. You might have been born in a large dwarven city, but raised in a remote are, in a small community devoted to be the first line of defense of this city against ennemies. They are independant, and must find their ressources by themselves. A few of them are werebear, the elder are druid able to wildshape in bear, and the younger ones disguise like bear. As for weapons, I strongly suggest the quatterstaff with the spell Shillelagh. |
