Vinasis the Enigma Race:- Human Sex:- Male Age:- 21 Class:- Wizard. Allignment:- Lawful Evil Vinasis was born in Korth the capital city of Karrnath, he was abandoned as a child for unknown reasons. The most Vinasis knows is that he was raised and trained by members of the secretive order of the emerald claw in a secluded emerald claw outpost. From childhood till adulthood the higher members of the order recognized his potential even before he did and knew that he was someone very special and showed great potential as an agent for the order. Vinasis grew up learning the arcane arts from his mentor Sir Mozenwrath. He was mentored by one of the topmost intelligence operatives of the order. Beginning as his apprentice, Vinasis soon grew to love the art of magic and realized it as a powerful tool to be utilized. Vinasis soon looked at Mozenwrath as a father figure and grew up with zeal and nationalistic pride for the order, bombarded by propaganda when he was young Vinasis soon became the pride and joy of his ‘father’. He believes that the current political standing in the city of Karnaath is a false power. Members of the organization are the true nationalists, the true saviors of the Karrnath as they always have been and they have been wrongly persecuted. Vinasis learn’t how to cover his identity in public at a very young age. He started to go to public school and even attended compulsory military training at the age of 17. That was a very tough time for him, for there were times under severe stress, he would unwontedly reveal his powers this brought suspicion to several of his friends. There was something very eerie happening to him, he used to get nightmares and dreams of him in an ancient temple of Vol where he saw an evil lich-like goddess figure beckoning to him. These nightmares were repetitive and brought great concern to him. But nonetheless he just ignored it saying it was probally all the books he was reading.It was during this Karnaathi military training his anger grew for the Royal Swords, he recognized that under martial law the, the army persecuted and killed many in abuse of power. He soon grew to hate the Royal Swords and all the current foundation of administration stood for. But his anger soon abated when he met Jacintha, a fellow comrade and dear friend, Jacintha was a sorceress and was under training to be a battle-mage for the Karnaathi army, they met at the arcane training camp and soon romance blossomed and they both found a deep common bond they had for they both had access to powers they could summon as they pleased. They found companionship in one another and soon Vinasis’s anger abated, for awhile. When Vinasis returned back to the secluded Emerald Claw outpost four years later It was under grim circumstances indeed. An inquisiton policy was being implemented by the Royal Swords and Sir Mozenwrath was under suspicion of treason. Merely two nights later, a battalion of Royal Swords soldiers stormed the secret encampment killing all the members of the Emerald Claw on sight. In the midst of chaos, Sir Mozenwrath called Vinasis to his side, and gave him several documents, important sigils, badges and other items of importance and asked Vinasis to abandon the camp via a greater teleport spell that led directly to the city of Sharn. There Mozenwrath told Vinasis to meet with his true “blood” related uncle who was also of the Emerald Claw and seek apprenticeship with him in the Magus Arcanium mage guild. Confused and disoriented Vinasis did not understand a thing what his mentor was telling him. He thought he was an orphan with no family at all? How then would he know of a living breathing blood relative? Mozenwrath just told him that everything would be known to him in time. And teleported Vinasis directly into the chambers of an ancient temple of Vol. Scared and nervous not knowing why his uncle who never seemed religious in anyway sent him to such a place. He explored the ancient temple nervously knowing that this to be the place of his nightmares..when suddenly, several guardian statues awoke and grappled Vinasis, a huge alarm sounded and several guards took him and brought him in for questioning. Terrified beyond anything Vinasis fainted on the spot. Vinasis was then teleported to a secret location and brought to the mage guild. When he awoke he was in a room and greeted by a tall figure of a man, he introduced himself as Abbalister his uncle. Abbalister related the story of how he knew of Vinasis’s coming and told him of who he was. Abbalister is the guildmaster of the Magus Arcanium mage guild, the most powerful and influential of mage guilds in the city of Sharn. Secretly Abbalister was an agent of the Emerald Claw but no one knew so. For all purposes Abbalister knew of Vinasis’s parents but refused to tell him anything for the time being, saying that he will learn everything soon. For now Vinasis was to be Abbalisters apprentice and to learn and study the magical arts under his guidance. He was to be trained and guided under the teachings of top wizards of the guild. Abbalister told Vinasis that he would one day serve as an agent of the order and would get revenge for what happened back in Karnaath. Vinasis handed over what was given to him by Mozenwrath and knelt before Abbalister vowing allegiance to the order and guild, and vengeance against all that stood in their way. Vinasis soon began his apprenticeship, he was known in the guild as one of their members and got many friends within the order and out. He conducted research in their libraries. Personally Vinasis believes that with proper training and guidance he would one day be the most powerful and feared mages of all time. The current Karnaathi government will fall, the true heroes of the nation would rise and deep down he knew that he would be the one to be accredited with the success of his order’s most holy work.
