So I am making a warforged cleric in the eberron campaign setting and I need help with my feats. The general backround of my character is I am a cleric of Boldrei with the community and protection domains (though I may change one of those if I hear a better suggestion). I was created by the church to be a body guard for the lower ranks and to help protect those in need. While I am only first level, I will be taking two flaws for two extra feats. My first feat is adamintine body but I am looking for two others. I am primarily looking for two feats that will help me to protect and or heal others better. Also because I am focusing on defense rather then offense I will be using a shield and I will have a dex of 13+ and a str of less then 13.

thanks

Well, it's rather unlikely that your character was created by the Church of Boldrei itself. House Cannith are basically the only people who are capable of creating warforged. However, it's possible that disciples of Boldrei with connections to House Cannith commissioned a warforged. However, bear in mind that House Cannith can't create "made-to-order" clerics, so going from being a bodyguard who is professionally affiliated with the Disciples of Boldrei to being an actual true believer who wields magical power as a cleric is a journey your character will have to go through independently. (Of course, House Cannith could have made the character more "susceptible" to faith in Boldrei and the Sovereign Host early in your life -- for instance, by modifying your memories so that you remember very distinctive visions of Boldrei speaking with you and calling upon you to serve him, or the like -- and also could have given him basic familiarity with magic. (spellcraft lessons, teaching familiarity with verbal, somatic, material, and focus/divine focus components, lessons in meditation and concentration that would aid spell preperation, etc.)

As for flaws and feats -- I'd ask the optimization boards (http://forums.gleemax.com/forumdisplay.php?f=339).

Jules has his advice pretty straight though since a newly created warforged is effectively of near infant mindset (they possess basic skills but no knowledge of the world) you could very well have been made a cleric through simply having been "raised" in the church. As for feats I'm pretty sure there is at least one that lets you use a turning attempt to cast cure spells at a range of something like 30 ft. prob can be found in complete divine or champion. Look into an item creation such as scrolls of potions too. Most ebberron magic items come from artificers but that doesn't mean you don't want the ability to provide for others personally.
