siris84 09-18-07, 10:21 AM	I'm in an Eberron game and were all lvl 2 and I'm wanting to play a dragonfire adept, but I cant find a good back story that I'm happy with. I was thinking of going with a Half-Elf thats using one of the main weapons of the dragons that enslaved the elves long ago to hunt them. So far I don't see anything wrong with that background or one that fits with the class. Any recommendations would be great. Thanks CRX
Terjon of the Blue Rose 09-20-07, 02:02 AM	Dragons didn't enslave the elves. They did however teach magic to giants, who in turn enslaved such. Perhaps you have found a dragon to teach you their magic as a way of making up for the enslavement of the past. If so consider carefully what that dragon thinks of dragonmarks (particullarly those of elves and half-elves). Once he has taught you their should also be reason for you to leave him. This can be as simple as bringing your new magic to the drow of Xendrik or the Elves of Aerenal and/or Valenar. Since the elves primarily use the magic they stole from the giants this would be something of a significant change and their would likely be both strong support and resentment of it.
