She is a cat burglar by proffesion and does rather well out of it, she left her home and reality when she was at the rebelious age of 97 and was sent to the reality she currently resides in by an Incubi casting gate but getting it a bit wrong. How would she play as I have never actually been an RP player before? |
| Uberwoot11-21-05, 04:04 PM | The character is young and likely still developing. An interesting role-playing challenge could be playing out the development of the character as she learns to adapt. For example, start the character as a bratty thing who expects people to treat her with special consideration, but as time goes on (and she figures out that people don't particularly appreciate that), evolve her personality into something that makes sense. What makes sense will depend on the players around you, of course. Just don't take too long to change. That starting personality could get a bit abrasive from time to time. :P |
| Grizzled Gryphon11-22-05, 05:31 AM | Make sure that her enviroment shapes that adaptation, too. The biggest consideration for how she evolves will be her companions, as Uberwoot said, but her enviroment will have a fairly significant impact, as well. Try and get yourself in the mindset of a kid that really doesn't know much, but thinks she does, and all her experiences start to "show her the light", as it were. She is in some very formative years of her life, so things will have much more of an impact on her than she will even realize. Think of any truamatic things that might have happened to her, and what impact those would have on her being who she is. Hope that helps!! :D |

| Twilly11-24-05, 10:04 AM | If I were you, I would stop calling her Goth Chick. These things will be remembered by your fellow players, and you will probably hear that neam over and over again. Make up a normal name for her, that way your character will be taken more serious. |
