Monks are my SPECIALTY...

THere are some very nice things you can do with monks.

1. Get your friendly neighborhood wizard to permanency greater magic fang
2. Take a few levels of sorceror or wizard and get the enlightened fist PrC(Found in complete arcane but very simple to copy down)(My absolute favorite) For it gives you fist of energy, arcane flurry I think it's called? and hold ray.
3. Multiclass with a magic-wielding class and get the smiting spell feat.
4. Have some gloves enchanted?
5. All of the above?

Also, PHB II has monk feats that let you blow your stunning fists to encase your hands in fire. I'm sure discussing with your DM a favoritism of elements wouldn't be a big deal.

Or, do all of the above.

You want to do all of the above...

Greater magic fang works only in geting the plus to damage and tohit, but i am trying to find out how to enchant my fists like weapons to +1 frost or better, i am already going enlightened fist and have discussed the fiery "frozen" fist feat but going enlightened gives me that ability anyhow, so no reason to burn a feat on that.

There's a that lets you multiclass monk and rogue. Stunning Fist+ sneak attack = fun times.

Ahh, yes. The ascetic rogue.

Improved grapple, clever wrestling, earth's embrace(+1d12 damage when grappling) and stunning fists are always nice.

Getting rogued out is always nice, because with the flurry of blows, you get extra attacks to unhail your sneak attack. And with only 1 level of monk and the rest rogue, you don't miss out on even a single di of s.a. damage. Not to mention, it's always a really awesome time roleplaying that special operative Sam Fisher wannabe. If you get that feat to get the elemental damage on your body, then you can have a really interesting time and still get what you want via elemental damage. In addition, when pinning an opponent, you'd do
(monk unarmed+earth's embrace+sneak attack+elemental damage+str mod.)

couldn't you take a couple of levels of Kensai PrC (complete Warrior)- you can enchant your fists to your heart's content!

Not sure you're posting on the right boards, Stratazar, unless you're looking for an in-game way of having your fists enchanted. Discussing build options, feats and prestige classes belongs to the Character Optimization board.

If you're looking for an in-game justification of a monk's enchanted fists, however, we can help. Let us know.

really looking for the in-game flavor thing, Lame as it my be/sound i am trying to build subzero. and i am looking for an ingame flavorful rules legal way to give him frost damage and or have his arms look/be ice. i was looking at the flesh to ice, but it is a 5th level spell and he is currently on sor1/mnk1.

i would take a level in sorcerer, it can also really add to roll playing.

Monks fists are considered manufactured weapons. If he didn't mind patiently waiting, I'm sure a wizard or sorc could scribe tatoos on his hand conferring magical properties to them just like enchanting a weapon

this is what i was thinking as well, however, should I pay for each fist individually or would i pay for them as a set?

A monks fists cannot be enchanced as a weapon.

Can a monk get her unarmed strike enhanced as a
magic weapon?
No. Even a magic gauntlet or spiked gauntlet isn’t the ideal
answer, since these aren’t listed as special monk weapons (and
therefore aren’t as versatile as unarmed strikes).

This is mostly put into place so you can't have 2d10 +5 (Plus other magic effects such as flaming burst) attacks that combines with flurry of blows.

Though your DM might allow you to work out something for shear style.
