| samoosa69101-07-04, 12:05 PM | in a current campaign i had the idea of being possessed by a pit fiend for the +4 to INT bonus, however this posses a problem, being with a group where there are two characters that are LG and one that is LN (not to worry about him), who would one maintain the ability to keep the fiend happy without having the paladin constantly casting detect eviL? PC "i cast detect evil" DM "You sence evil around you, erm right behind you" PC "I slaughter evil" PC2 ... DM "Time for a new character" PC2 ...! |

| Morka01-07-04, 04:19 PM | Where did you take this possession thing? If you are possessed, do you need to be of evil alignment as well? I think it is the same problem for a paladin that traveling with an evil character... Actually, it should be done with a high diplomacy, not this way: PC "i cast detect evil" DM "You sence evil around you, erm right behind you" PC "I slaughter evil" PC2 ... DM "Time for a new character" PC2 ...! When DM answer that the pally sence evil behind him, the paladin should answer something like: "Yeah, beside that annoying evil fellow, is there any evil around?" |
