| Kenkai01-04-04, 06:58 PM | i think there is a rule somewhere that says you can only have familiars that are one step away from your alignment at most. so no chaotic good wizards with neutral evil familiars ;) |
| Ratguy62901-04-04, 09:02 PM | Just keep him/her - it out of sight of commoners and churches but some people might not know what it is. I think they can change into rat or spider or something but im not sure |
| Morka01-04-04, 09:26 PM | Yes imps and quasits have the ability to polymorph into one or two animals. So if you meet a wizard with a rat who looks at you strangely, it could be a rat familiar with an INT of 7, or an imp polymorphed into a rat! :smirk: I personnally never saw an imp (unless my neighboor's cat is one polymorphed...), but I'm sure it "looks" evil. So even if a commoner don't know that it is an imp, he will know it is something bad. So an innkeeper will perhaps say that he doesn't want it in his inn, or he will perhaps be too affraid to say anything wrong. But a good-aligned cleric will probably try to convince the wizard it's not a good creature to keep, or he will probably cast a banishment on it. |
