I was thinking of making a character based off of every villain Gary Oldman has played, including mannerisms, evil goals, and methods. I am sure to have scruffy black hair, go-tee, and be party crazy. Some villains he's played that could translate to DnD are: The Professional - played the evil Narc cop, took drugs and was the center of curroption. Lost in Space - played the evil scientist and corrupted the youngest family member. Air Force One - played the evil Russian terrorist. Jesus - played Pontius Pilate, judge who historically known for brutality. 5th Element - played the evil corporate guy bent on destroying the world, to profit from rebuilding it. JFK - played Lee Harvey Oswald, likely the assassin of Kennedy. (let's not get into conspiracy theories) :) Dracula - played the vampire himself. Harry Potter - played Sirius Black, and think of his mannerisms during the 3rd movie. With all that said, what would all or most of these characters translate into DnD terms? I have thoughts but I'll see what others think first. |

That said, I have some thoughts on Sirius Black. Some of the things that made him iconic were his ability to transform, to blend in with his surroundings, and to escape capture. I wouldn't really call Sirius Black evil even in the third movie. He was more Chaotic Neutral in my eyes. Since he is technically a Wizard, I would say to start there. He knew how to transform well, so Transfiguration spells would be good here unless you wanted to be able to transform at will. If that's the case then I'm not really sure how to accomplish that. Some Rogue levels might work here as well to give him that sneaky, elusive feel from the books and the movie. Sirius might make a particularly nasty Arcane Trickster. |
