There are plenty of threads about PCs, and rightly so, they are after all, the focus of the game, but what about the supporting characters that help drive the campaign? Post a description of some of your favorites from your games here.

First a couple of mine, that my players have liked.

Keldar the Lone Wolf. Bastard Son of a human woman and the god of pain, Keldar was a Chaotic Neutral warrior. Not only could he fight with the best of them, but he was also a lot smarter than he looked, having all sorts of ancient lore regarding an ancient prophecy that he used to assist the party. When they thought to ask of course. He wasn't exactly the talkative type. Nor did he understand what was, and was not acceptable in human society. Such as the time when the party had to leave a particular city in the dead of night. Now the guards stopped the party, as the gates are closed during darkness. Keldar, in order to remove the guards from his path, drew his sword and promplty slew them. Once the party outran the Royal Knights, they explained to him very careful why you can't kill some one just because they're annoying. The players must have liked the bastard however, because when he died, and could not be raised, due to being an outsider, they travelled to the depths of hell to get him back.

And then, there is Crazy Charlie. He's appeared in several of my games. Usually ones with a conspiracy of some sort present in them. I've used him in games of Chaosium's The Call of Cthulhu set in the 1990's, A d20 Modern game based on the Anime "Akira" and White Wolf's Werewolf: The Apocalypse.
Crazy Charlie dresses in old army fatigues and lives on the street, leading most characters to believe he's a Vietnam vet. Charlie is however, a wealth of information, on just about anything, or at least, on just about anything that it dosn't seem logical for him to have information on. Like, how to get into top secret government facilities, where obscure objects or people can be found and whatnot. He does, however, tend to ramble on about many unimportant things while providing this information.
Charlie never says WHERE he gets his information, but it's (almost) always reliable. Also strangely enough, he's usually found just when the Characters *really* need his help. Even if they're in Los Angeles, and had last seen him in Toronto.
My players have developed theories that he's everything from ex-CIA, to a Gray Alien to a Nuwisha. Of course, Charlie's not telling.
