| Shaggy_Shaggs02-27-06, 10:45 AM | 6. Q: How do I get people to reply? A: All to often, you will post and then feel frustrated or disappointed that no-one responded. That could be for a number of reasons: you didn't wait long enough, no-one had anything to contribute, etc. But often it is because your post doesn't help. Instead it actually hinders people who would genuinely like to offer their comments and suggestions based on their own rich gaming experiences and vivid imaginations. So, to help, please consider the following three basic points, when posting: Provide information - If you don't say anything, then readers have nothing to go on. Give some details! Make your question specific - Asking a particular question will make it much easier for readers to direct their replies. If your requests for information/help don't include "What/Where/Why/How/Who", a particular issue and a question mark, it will likely be overlooked. Take some care - Please make your posts easy to read. Use proper sentences, capitalisation, correct spelling and good grammar. Avoid too many unnecessary acronyms. And remember that not everyone has English as a first language, and so will be more easily thrown by mistakes and colloquialisms. There really isn't enough to go on, here. I suggest you read a bit first.
