First time playing a Rouge [Archive] - Wizards Community

03-29-05, 10:00 PM so, how do these guys work? I mean, I'm a Rouge lvl 13 and assassin level 1, and that's cool and all, but how do I RP this guy? I don't have a history or anything. (I'm a changeling) Some help. Please?

If you don't have a history, how did you come up with the character? What's the character's alignment? What's the campaign world like? Is he an evil hitman or does he try to kill evil people and work for rebellions, or what?

04-25-05, 12:09 AM I like Changling characters. But I hate starting at high levels. If you had started at a lower level, you could build your story as you went along. Changling assassin, hm? Depending on your skills, of course, but how about this. Being a changling, you have spent your life being other people. This has enabled you to become a powerful rogue. You have spent so much time as other people than you no longer know "who" you are. Oh, you know your name and remember everything that has happened to you, just you no longer have any connection to it. Like you read your own story in a book or something. And this upsets you greatly. It upsets you so much that you have decided to kill all those who seem content with who and what they are. If they are comfortable in their own skin, they are a target. Whether you kill them now or later is irrevelant, only your heart burns to slay them. In the most brutual way you can. So you are constantly watch other people, trying to understand what makes them tick in order to better impersonate them and to decide whether they deserve to die. (IYO, of course)
