dragon #328 had an article called "nobody's perfect" which was about flaws designed with the stereotypical traits of nonhuman races in mind. theres a flaw called "short attention span" (appropriately in the section for my favorite, gnomes). my question deals the time span of the flaw. it says you take a cumulative -2 on retries on a skill check you just failed. but what's the time limit? i would think the penalty would reset back to a -2 from any higher number for a retry after you make a different skill check or a minute after the last retry you make, whichever comes first. anybody hear anything official or know where i can find an official answer? thanks

One minute? Sounds a bit short to me... After maybe two retries, you just find that stuff boooring... and that changes after one minute? I'd go for an hour, if not even for a resting period.
