Hello all. I want to see if you guys can help me add some detail to my character's back story. Thank you for taking the time to read my post and if you have responding. I apologize for any grammatical and spelling errors you find

My character was born to a tribe of dusklings; he was raised from birth to be a totemist. The tribe treats totemists as a sort of super soldier. He became adept at tracking and eliminating targets even across long distances. One day while in a "civilized" kingdom he witnessed something that would change his life. He saw a tactical squadron of rogues practicing and he realized that even though he was trained to be the best adaptive soldier he could be these rogues would always be better. So he left the forest to see what he could learn from the rogues effectively turning his back on his tribe. While in the city he developed an intense interest in magical items (think Jarlaxle from R.A. Salvatore books). That is why he adventures to put his newfound skills as a rogue to use and to acquire more interesting (not necessarily powerful) magic items.

What I would like from you all is if you could please tell me what you think of the story (interesting boring horrible) and if there is a feat that provides a track by sent type of ability. Also if you guys could give me some ideas for magical times for him to have stock piled (besides qual's feather token tree) he is around level 10 so if they could fall with in that levels price range that would be great.

depending on your totemist level, i'm pretty sure one of the soulmelds grants scent.

I liked the story. As far as magic items I find "interesting": the various Dusts, sovreign glue, universal solvent, the healing salve that works like 8 cure light potions, and flying carpets. A wand or scroll of comprehend languages can save your life.

I also like animated shields.
