I'm Starting a new campaign next week and I'm looking for some fun ways to roleplay a half orc soulknife.

my current back story for him is that he was raised in a orc tribe that only let him stay because he was a good fighter. He left because it just got boring and he wanted to find a challenge.

His stats are
STR 19
DEX 13
Con 16
INT 14
WIS 14
CHA 7

My mind just blanks when I try to think of how to play him. I'm in need of some fresh ideas.

What level are you? I'm using this only to judge his combat prowess.

From what I gather, Psionics is a rare gift in most worlds. Perhaps you should ask your DM for any specific story-based sources of Psionic talent?

With the stats you have, I'd consider not dumping your Charisma so low. Now, granted you don't need a high charisma as a Soulknife but being I've never had much fun even playing a warrior-type with less than a 12 charisma.

Now on to the meat of the post.

As a Half-Orc you're not going to be accepted in either Orc or Human society. I'm guessing he was forced to do manual labor, was pushed around and beaten quite often when he was young but as you grew you proved your strength to the true-bloods.

Orc's are by their nature creatures of below average intelligence. You, however, have an Intelligence of 14 which is roughly an IQ of about 140; just below Genius-level IQ. Even with your lack of a solid Orc heritage, your strength, intelligence, foresight and unique talent make you a potential leader. Your charisma is the only thing holding you back.

Perhaps you trumped the leader of your tribe and the right to rule fell on your shoulders. You might have grown bored or frustrated with the job after a time, however, and that could have been when you left your old life behind.

The way I see it, you'd rarely find yourself second to anyone in terms of ability within' the confines of a traditional Orcish band.

Also, your thought process will likely befuddle the majority of your Orcish comrades. Mindless charging and reckless abandon should be replaced by sound tactics on your part. You'll see everything differently, and with your lower than average charisma I'd attribute it to sheer arrogance on your part. You're confident in your ability, and you know it. Trouble is, everyone will recognize your arrogance as well and hate you for it.

That is how I see your mental abilities.

not bad suggestions but I would look at the possibility that you trumped the orc leader and still couldn't gather any support. It was constant challenges as, despite clearly showing your strength, the other orcs could never accept you... both for you heritage and your strange reliance on powers they didn't understand. You don't have the charisma to convince them to fear those powers which means cowing them through brute strength... something you likely found tedious as you were forced to do so day after day unrelentingly.
