Fortunatly I was CN, therefore safe from random smiting. I did take the option to be able to drink blood, and therefore had to to live. Usually in the wilderness I would just catch an animal, drink some of its blood, hand it over to the rest of the party to cook, but in a large town or city, that is where the fun with the paladin came in. In order to live I would drink blood from criminals and prostitues I would find, but I wouldn't kill them, just drink enough to live. So when I walked back into the inn with some of my meal still on my chin and he asks, I explain, you then hear his brain explode and proceed to ignore me whenever I come back from getting a bite to eat. It is always fun putting a paladin into uncomfortable moral issues. Does anyone else have humorous stories about dealing with paladins and seeing how they can think on thier feet? |

We were advised to flee and hide. So we did. But me, the paladin of all people, decided it would be a good idea to prepare 3 areas for ambush before daybreak and make an escape route from there. Laden with traps and spellwards... Unfortunately the game did not allow me to fully enjoy such deviousness. The rest of the party broke the plan and revealed themselves to the group. We fought. We won. Because we were fighting wimps. I was looking forward to an encounter like that, in fact, I will look for someone to run something like that. Nostalgia strikes. -----------------Do not use dotted lines----------------- My paladin was in a dungeon crawl campaign, so not many chances for moral issues. Most of what happened was me using inventive tactics on the battlefield. In your example. The paladin should take responsibility for finding you some kind of food supply, buying livestock or donours. |
