After the death of one of my faveorite characters ever (Atari, overtly religious (silver flame) fighter/kensai which was oh-so not optimized but oh-so fun to RP), the time has come to roll up a new character. For this, I have chosen to become Gar, the racist warforged artificer with clear influences from HK-47. His Favorite word? Meatbags!
He is one of the older warforged, around 29 years old. The party consists of, at the moment, 3 warforged (incuding myself), 2 humans, and a shifter. Reasoning for joining the group? Has somehow become a friend of another warforged who left the group about 6 weeks ago, but has come back. Believes Warforged to be superior to the 'fleshies' and is disgusted by their treatment of his brethern. The third warforged is roughly 18 months old and is extremely impressionable, with a mind ripe for manipulation, especially with that low int score ;) :P
I plan on pointing out the non-warforged status as 'meat-bags' whenever they do something stupid (which should be fairly often) and in general hold a huge preference towards the other two warforged in the party. Won't neccessarily be an a** towards the other party members, but hey, they're just human, right? Squishy little things, be they.
So, how exactly do you think I should expand upon this character, rp him, or any other general suggestions. I've heard tidbits of a group of seperatist warforged in some swamp or something, but can't seem to dig up too much information on them, can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks!

This guy should be actively seeking out the Lord of Blades.

Careful around the table don't discredit them to much and grudingly admit they have their uses, meatball just happens to be one of them.:D

I have been playing a Racist dwarf for a while, and it is hard to maintain.

1)I found that you are always running into situations where if you play the character correctly you will end up hurting the party or in my case attacking the parties elven archer.

2)It gets tiring to be so negitive for a long period of time. It was fun at first, but if you play long sessions it wears you down.

3)Eventually you will annoy the group.

So my advice. Go with a racist facade, but more understanding core. I know it is cliche, but being a true racist is going to get old quick.

Being a true racist is difficult. As my name suggests I have played several very racist elves. You have to be able to still work with the party and not **** them off too much. However it can be alot of fun if done well. My last one was really fun. The best way I've found of doing it isn't to show hatred, but actually pity. Just consider them lesser beings and you have a world of fun without risking too much in party fighting.

Also, you could encourage the "meat bags" to become more like warforged. I think there is a prestige class in Magic of Eberron that allows a person to become a living construct. (Master .....?)

Also, if your character experiences a change of heart, and wants to feel more alive, there is the Reforged prestige class in Races of Eberron. And, if you want to go construct all the way, the obvious Warforged Juggernaught.

Elves (normal elves, not racist elves) are very much like the personality that Adolph_Keebler described. "They are tolerating of people who do not meet their standards (which is almost everyone)". I discriminate like that (world of idiots). It's a very pleasant thing to do, and it causes no problems.

Maybe try being less hateful than...condescending. Treat them like you might a pet. Their continued efforts to pretend they're worthy of respect are a constant source of amusement. Aww, isn't that cute? He thinks he's people!
