A couple of possibilities to include are -Parents were killed by hags -Has ties to the Gatekeepers if only by a brother or sister who is a druid What not to include -Any ties with the Cult of the Dragon Below Also the DM, requires an event that would be his "claim to fame". This is something that he has done to make him a up and coming hero. Thanks |

Perhaps the tribe's leader is polygamous, or perhaps everyone live and raise the children in common, mating only when they want. That could explain how an half-sister could end being a druid for the Gatekeepers. Hags are coward opponents, they usually kidnap babies, I'm not sure why they would attack some barbarian. If you're starting at level 10, then the tribe leaders should be at least as high in level, so they should have wiped out the hags. Unless you and a few other young were kidnapped by an hag covent when you were baby, and a barbarian team was sent to find you. The tribe leader was killed in the battle, but the other ones were able to bring you back. The tribe leader was beloved, and the rest of the tribe make you carry the burden of his death. So when you are old enough, you quit the tribe. |
