Alright. I'm making a gnomish conjurer named Flurppy Fireflicker(a magician i had in EQ before i quite).

Will be using the UA variant Conjurer... prohibitted schools will be necromacy(why make dead stuff when i can make living stuff?) and illusion(why make fake things when i can make real?).

He will have gone to a gnomish wizard college. Feats are Precautious Apprentice, and Collegiate Wizard, and will have augment summoning from conjurer class. Will be taking a flaw, Murky-Eyed.

Now... since illusions are spells he cannot cast, i was thinking that maybe he was kind of the outcast. Was always made fun of by the illusionists, and a would be looked down upon by most teachers, maybe except one, who helped him become a conjurer more than any other teacher.

Yeah... thats just a start, and im having troubles getting through the major details... one more thing... I want to play him as sensitive about not knowing illusion spells, and is not willing to tell anyone about it, and will deny it of anyone ever mentions such a thing.

I coudl use help on the details, and any help would be awsome.

Oh, and, He is 3'2'', 42 pounds, black hair(short) and clean shaven. He has 14str, 18 dex, 18 con, 18 int, 14 wis, 16 charisma. He is one of those cute and cudley gnomes, and when someone is angry or upset, or depressed, he asks "Have you hugged your gnome today?" and kinda does a puppy-dog eyes thing. Oh, big blue eyes also. Chaotic Neutral.

Again, any help would be awsome.

Well, with his murky eyes (I'm guessing the flaw puts a penalty on your spot checks, forgive me, I don't own UA) he'd often have difficulty seeing what other people could easily see. "Oh, my goodness, excuse me, ma'am" (after bumping into a very angry male half-orc in a bar.) This could be played for comic effect, as well as playing at him having hyper-keen hearing (put some extra ranks into Listen, unless you have desperate PrC-requirement skills to be spending.) That way, when anyone calls you "blind as a bat" you can turn around and scream "I heard that!" Also, when throwing conjurations about, say they're shadow conjurations, and when anyone who knows their stuff calls you on it, claim "Well, clearly I fooled you!" He might even go so far as calling himself "The Greatest Illusionist in the World" to throw people off the trail (and if you put a few ranks in bluff you might even convince some people.)

Maybe with non-Gnomes who point out his lack of illusion-type spells, he'll pull the race card.

"What?! Just because I'm a Gnome, I have to tricking poeple left and right, huh? Why, if you weren't travelling with me, I'd summon up some horrible plant right now to gobble your legs!"
