| happymoocow06-23-05, 10:51 AM | I need help fluffing this character. It's an Ebberon setting. They use an insane rolling system which gave me 18,18,17,17,17, & 15. So my strength is 13, wis 18, int 18, con 19, cha and dex 17. Currently level three so I have druid 3 and wizard 3 (gestalt). I plan to be a druid/wizard/arcaneheirophant/fighter gestalt So far here's what I have so far: -chaotic nuetral. My character likes to spy with divination, but lacks patience and will often make hasty decisions rather then probing deeper. -I specialize in divination and I drop necro (makes sense that I drop necro as I am druid). -I'm a gnome so that's always fun in Ebberon. Human is better for min maxing a druid, but I don't really care. -I got a forest and plains warden - idk any other wardens but I just know that I am a druid primarily and this sounded good. I don't really care about the special ability. I probably won't remember to use it. I also picked this because of the region the players are currently in. Situated in a plains near a forest or something and the city is supposed to be good for wizards to learn so this is where my character came to learn wizardry. -I like to club people. -wolf companion, toad familiar, & a riding dog to ride. -My character likes to explore and go in head strong first into unknown areas. I think my character is going to end up saying, "bwahhhhhh" alot. It'll be fun. As usual gnomes like to conspire and I need something to conspire against. I was thinking about freeing elementals. I mean they bind the elementals to ships and make them slaves in Ebberon right? So freeing them wouldn't be nice. I also would like to worship an Ebberron deity. Which one should I go with? skills concentration spellcraft knowledge nature knowledge arcana handle animal survival spot listen I am not going to invest into handle animal past 8. I'll put ranks into intimidate (for the fighter in me). Should my character be one of those little guys that like to think they can take on bigger guys? Sure. :) |

Anyways, so you are thinking of a cocky gnome druid/wizard with a club... sounds fun, and btw, you CAN ride your wolf companion, so there isnt really a need to buy a domesticated animal for you to ride, just use wolfy. So onto the fluff... Ok, im thinking that maybe he beleives that arcane magic is just as part of this world as trees, flowers, and the weather. Through his mixing of druidic nature magic and studies of arcane lore, he finds that he is more attune to his surroundings, natural and otherwise. He beleives in his power to better the world by freeing elementals, defeating perversions of nature, and delving into a combination of arcane druidic lore and magic so better live your life in harmony with the world. |
