| Fithero08-11-05, 04:30 AM | I believe that a dire tiger would be better suited to a goblin druid (for story purposes anyway). The orange and black kinda go with the the goblin, and tigers are kinda know to be vicious and deadly killers. While bears are more of less known for their protective nature (me being an aussie, i could be completly wrong, since we have neither of these animals) :P Later |

Only one or two of the species, off the top of my head, attack people often. The rest are known to wander into campsights and no one get hurt (Unless they do something stupid.. it is just an animal, why scare it?) But yea, I think I agree on the Tiger. Tigers are also good at hiding, which is a very goblin-esque thing. |

Less damage, more gobliny flavor, more tricky (mm..mm..mmm... trip attacks :D ) However, you should also consider, if you already have an animal companion keeping it-the strength boosts help with the damage gap and having the very wolf by your side that ripped the throat out of the bugbear chieftain Thrue bloodshower or helped you outrun a thundering army of orcish marauders can make for great stories to tell-and can keep your fellow party members from underestimating their "little goblin friend" |
