| dragonman40704-18-05, 06:29 PM | I want my character to be a monk with a greater gold dragon bloodline. He is the son of an eternal hero (person who did something extrodinary during his life and is now chained to reality, reborn many times) who was the last dragon rider of the fifth age. Tatooed with a dragon on his back, he was left outside a monestary to be raised until he could go out on his own adventure. Does anyone please hva a name i could use? |

| dragonman40704-19-05, 06:05 PM | Im sorry. i didn't mention that no one knows who his father is. He was just left at the monestary. To everyone else, he's just an orphan. |

Branson-"son of Brando (medieval Germanic name derived from brand "sword") Kendrick- "bold power" from Old English Ceneric Casimir-Means "to destroy peace", derived from the Slavic element kazic "to destroy" combined with mir "peace" Lorccan-Means "little fierce one", derived from Irish Gaelic lorcc "fierce" combined with a diminutive suffix Cinaed-Means "born of fire" in Gaelic Erol-Means "brave" in Turkish Aldrick-Possibly derived from the Germanic elements ald "old" and ric "ruler, power". Cyrus-may be related to the Persian word khur "sun". The name is sometimes associated with Greek kyrios "lord" |
| Daniel _the_Zodiac04-21-05, 01:28 AM | Usually I look up a word that describes my character in another language and go from there, for instance: I had an evil fighter named Syrnex from the Latin 'Syr' meaning slaughter or massacre and I had a sorcerer named Armigeroth from the word Armigerous which means "bearing arms" or "regal". or you could just make up a name. Groovy, huh? |
| TheDarkOne Mk204-23-05, 06:57 AM | I really like the name Mandarb (means blade in R. Jordan's old tongue) or Yatim (it means orphan in indonesian), perhaps Osa. Aan'allein (true its pure theft but in Jordan's books it means one man or similar) :D |
| Siduakal04-23-05, 07:01 AM | For names, seriously, go here.. http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=389463 Just ask TRRW for a name. (The Red Robed Wizard) He's got an uncanny knack for it. It's a post I started a while back that is still not dead, everyone asks him for names. He's scary with how good he is at naming things. Just read the rules he posts in his first reply. |
