Yare 04-06-05, 03:39 AM	Lizardman [Impossible to Miss]: A size-increased [Feral] [Winged] Lizardfolk with levels in Fighter and War Hulk. He fights with a gargantuan sharrash, as well as his claws and teeth. Lizardman was cast out by his tribe at a young age. They didn't mind the wings so much -but the fact that he just kept growing larger and stronger made the tribe's chief fear for his position. For years, lizardman wandered the Anarouch desert -fighting nature and the native beasts for survival. Eventually, he came upon the lands of the fleshy races where he quickly became renowned as a bounty hunter and mercenary. He is driven to be the strongest and most legendary lizardfolk in all of Faerun -and to one day become a god to his people who had previously forsaken him. Azrael [on top of the scythe]: A human katana-specialist / skillmonkey with levels of Rogue, Weightless Foot, and Shadow Dancer. Azrael began life as a lowly street-urchin-turned rogue. When he got older, Azrael became a feared mercenary assassin. It is in this line of work that he first met and worked with Lizardman, who would be one of the few good friends in his life. In time, Azrael began to feel that something was missing from his life -as if he was somehow empty or incomplete. He left the mercenary business and travelled to a far away monastery. Over the course of many years of training and adventuring, Azrael reached enlightenment in the way of the Weightless Foot. It was about this time that the party Azrael was travelling with encountered Lizardman, who gladly joined up at the promise of lots of coin. Lizardman proved a bad influence on Azrael, who once again began to walk the path of the mercenary assassin. For that, I used the picture of a living golem (some kind of template) from Savage Species. I found a good "wing" image and inverted it to black, then mirrored it and stuck it behind the body. The head is the head of a baby alligator, to which I added a few extra black lines in certain areas to emphasize the edges. I also made the eye red. Next I added claws to the thumb, and toes of the golem. Then the tail (mechagodzilla. Best I could find =P ). Lastly I added a redwood trunk for the haft of the sharrash, and then used the actual sharrash blade for the top. For Azrael, I used a silhouette of Batman. I edited the head (lost the bat ears, added a cloak hood), added a katana, and then took a cape from Spawn and added it to the back (and also tattered it a bit). All of this was combined with liberal use of the clone/healing brush, and other little photoshop tricks. Took about 4 hours from start to finish to find pics on Google image search that worked and get everything how I like it. I know it sucks. I'm not an artist or a writer, I'm a programmer. =P
