| metapellin07-21-05, 08:59 AM | Hi, I am using a 1st level barbarian - he is one of my followers- and I wanted him to be able to grapple enemies well.. I have improved unarmed fighting and improved Grapple Feat so far.. and my strength is a 20..yea baby..natural 20. Can anyone help out how I can grapple better.. I have been failing my rolls still... I want to grab those sons of *****es. Thanks |
| Abyssal Stalker07-21-05, 09:44 AM | There is a feat in some of the FR books which makes you count as large creature when it gives you advantage... Don't remember which book, sorry. |
| Rathis Darkwielder07-21-05, 12:26 PM | The feat that's mentioned is called Jotunbrud and it comes from Races of Fearun. It's a regional feat though, so if you've started playing already you won't be able to take it (regional feats are 1st lvl only). |
| TheMightyMcClaw07-21-05, 05:22 PM | Check out Oriental adventures... there are a number of feats in there that deal with grappling. -I'd like to take this time to plug the Judoka PrC in my signature. It's very grappling oriented. Also, I highly recomend that you have the barbarian speak with a Brazillan accent, and possibly change his name to "Wulfgar Gracie." |

As in, this is where you would go to get help making up a background on WHY the character likes to grapple, not get feat selection help. |
