Half Drow Archer Spider Rider (It rhymes, too) [Archive] - Wizards Community

12-07-04, 03:18 PM I'm going to make myself for the first time in my life a real evil. Not just a evil character for one session, but one that I plan to play. Now, I've figured out the main idea: Neutral Evil Half-Drow Fighter Spider Rider. I just love the way drows look, but actually hate their level adustment, aspecially as we are starting at level 1. So, I'll stick to the Half Drow. Since Lolth isn't giving spells and no body knows what's her problem, the next spider deity is Selvetarm ( WE play in Faerun ). I'm going to riding on all kinds of spiders, therefor, I must be using the shortbow.

Anyway, you got my main character ideas: Half Drow Fighter Spider Rider with a shortbow. The idea seems just too good.

And I'm just asking if there is anything I could do to improve my character...anything I could add to my character ?

12-08-04, 12:02 AM Well, you could go with shiny chitin armour, a flowing cape, bright banded jumping spiders or garden spiders.

Or, you could go with black cloth suit, mask, and a black or brown web-spinner.

Either way, spider-riding requires special harness/saddles, which are neat in and of themselves.

12-13-04, 04:11 PM Cuz he likes Half-Drow. I could make the same argument about Half-elves, to be honest. All I see is +2 Diplomacy. Whooo-hoo. But its roleplaying. Play what ya like.
