I'm in trouble with my party. I'm an CE halfling rouge that's about to become an assassin. I tok out my target while the other 2 guys were investigating. The became suspiciose and came back to the room we were staying in on the airship and found my cleaning bllod of the floor. I said I had tripped on a bag and spilled the warforged's manticore head and was cleaning. They beat me until I told them I was wrking for someone that they hadn't met. The only other time I screwed them was when I stole 35 gold from them, oh, and I tried to rob them twice. I've cleaned up my act and not done anything bad in a while, except the whole assassination thing. I need to get them to trust me again.

P.S. and I'm trying to build a hybred pirate/assassin/halfling army to conquer the elf island, release the fiends, and enslave the world and the dragons with the help of the fiends

Well try to look at it like it habent in the "real" world.

If one of your friends did something like this to you, will he then still be your friend?

If you where in my gaming group and your character did something like this to me, i would ask you to Atone for it (yes the spell:Atonement). If you failed then you would be asked to leave (make new character).

I plan on reforming, I just really want to take a few levels in assassin first, I need to make it 2 or 3 levels without getting killed. I also ride dinosaurs:P
I won't be destroyed if I die, I have a plan for a new character, but I like Roscoe

If worse comes to worse, and you really like this guy, you could just see if you can have Roscoe go NPC. He disappears for a bit, after a while there could be some interesting interaction if he comes back to render the party some sort of help. Complicated feelings about this old member who the other party members apparently once liked but have the major violation of trust standing in the way of their relationship now. THere could be the element of forgiveness but with the unspoken realization that things would never be the same. Plus your new guy is put in the position of being on the outside looking in with all the old drama, emphasizing his otherness from the group while at the same time giving him the opprotunity to bond with them as they have some sort of closure with Roscoe. I don't know, just a thought.
