Hi,

we're just starting a new campaign in a almost no-magic world, where politics and good roleplaying are going to be the most important factors.

We'll be starting at 4th level, and I'm going to play a rogue in order to become later a Spymaster.

My public identy will be that of a merchant, and the DM ruled that my leadership feat will be used to get all those faithful shopkeepers that will work for me in every town.

The country in which we start has mainly a XIV century French style, including names (I still need to choose mine, any suggestion?) Just near we have Anglo-Saxon and German cultures, so I could also have that kind of name.

I need to plan at least 3 other identities (profession, name, mannerism and so on), could you help me?

Also if you have any idea about this character just write it, anything could help.

I'm sorry for my rough english but I'm italian

thanks

Manfred

I might have a few suggestions on some identities since I was planning on being a spy master but the plan fell through.

1.) Tailor: Would probably mummble under his breath of measurements and just sorta shoot the breeze to his customers. Depending on how you wanted it you could be a tailor with the very rich and the middle class which gives you a broad catagory for gather info. Also you can make all your own disguises now. :D

2.) Painter: My idea was to have a 'weak' painter, pale skin, doesn't look much of a threat to anyone. He would be quiet and basicly stay in the background where people wouldn't pay him much mind as he painted (And prehaps takes notes)

3.) Cook: I don't know, I just like food, plus you would never have another bland meal in your life with this one, just watch your weight.

Generally all these 'jobs' have the ability to mix in with the common people and still get fairly close to the higher ups.
