I'm a cleric in the campaing of wichfire (Iron Kingdoms), with the domains of travel and war of chaotic-good aligment.

The concept is some like a errand cleric (the black sheep of a long family of paladins) who is on the road to try to get a deeper faith in the good of the family (morrow) but it's too chaotic to get it and is on the "bad-way" and on the "bad-life", not enought to lose the powers.

It's cleric-3/fighter-1 and it's specialized to fight with shield (shield bash, holly shield...)

I want to go further in the character but i don't known how to continue, more cleric seems "insutantial" and more fighter would specialice me in the fighter ways and i dont want it also...

¿Maybe some physic-warrior levels to emulate some inner-strenght and the raw power of the will of the character?

If he is on the road, he is on a spiritual journey, perhaps trying to find his place in the world and in relation to his God. At 4th level he's clearly a qualified warrior for his church and he should be out there laying down some sanctified smack in the best interests of his Deity.

I highly suggest NOT taking another class. Multiple classes usually mean poorer character development. It takes a unique individual to juggle three occupations, let alone three ways of life.

Not everyone gets to channel the power of a Deity through their faith. Most people in your average D&D world are religious, have faith, and actively worship a god and never so much as turn water into grape juice. Treat the class with respect, keep at it. ^_^
